Um, You Know, the Local Religious Contexts

i'm curious if cutters and other gulf countries played a role in supporting, like, muslim institutions and clerics in the region. And i'm curious if this contributed to the radicalization of perhaps previously more tolerant muslims. This is, this is something that remains somewhat um, understudied. There's a lot of confusion about religious actors and what they represent. Sometimes religious actors can be opportunists. They might present themselves as allying with, um, you know, muslim brotherhood or salicism against those types of ideology.
