How to Deal With a Thought at Night

At night, various thoughts can play on our minds. It can be difficult to know how to deal with and respond to these thoughts without feeling overwhelmed by them. Each time a thought pops up in your mind, acknowledge the thought, but just try saying, not now. By responding with not now, you're sending a signal to your brain that you've seen that thought,. This is not the opportune time to deal with it. So it can gently float away like a cloud drifting across a blue sky. When you're better prepared to deal with that thought, it will come back to you during the day.
