Google created its own hiring process to make sure that they were bringing in and then approving the people that had the right skills for Android. This was an operating system dream team. They knew what they were doing. And so this was exactly the kind of project that they wanted to work on. It's a huge advantage over most new software organizations where you're hiring random people.
