Colfeldt's a German Sympathizer
There's an assumption that Colfeldt was German we'll find out from one of the members of the Dean Murder Research Group what his actual heritage was but he was suspected heavily of being a German sympathizer. The worker fight order that was put in place really drew a lot of energy from the patriotism at the time during World War I and when you really look into it mr. Colfeldt didn't need to work because he wanted to make it seem like if you're not working well you should be either fighting or producing for your country.
