Introduction

Bart Erman is a six-time New York Times best-selling author and world-renowned Bible scholar. This week he asks his colleague in Hebrew Bible and ancient Near Eastern religions and cultures, Joseph Lamb, to join him for a discussion about a topic that he's an expert on and that I'm not. He has recently done a lecture course, a 12-lectric course for Wondrium, the great courses, on the creation stories of the ancient world. And this is obviously of relevance to anybody who knows anything about the Bible because the Bible itself begins with a creation story or two.
