The Rise of Stakeholder Action at General Motors

I think some things on the extremes on both sides are being misinterpreted and frankly leverage for not what their intent was at all. At General Motors, we want to be the most inclusive company in the world. But when I talk to our employees about it, I say, how many people have been at work and have felt, and haven't felt valued or felt ignored? And then they raise their hand. No one wants to feel bad at work. Everybody wants to feel like they're valued, that their work is recognized. And so that's what we're working on. So, you know, again, inclusion is just respecting differences.
