The History of Cybernetics

In the early days of cybernetics, there were cyberneticians. Noah Wiener wrote a book about cybernetics in probably 1975 or so. Cybernetics became a big thing in Russia for a while and so we didn't for a while. It kind of broke into pieces; one piece was control theory which is now used to make devices that run things like thermostats and HVAC systems. And then it jumped into some sort of mathematics that was fairly elaborate but not clear connected with what was being said.
