The Meritocracy of the Military

I think the words matter an awful lot these days I feel that way in part because our language is under assault words don't always mean what they used to mean. Are you seeing that in the military and what's going on with our military today if you don't mind me just kind of leapfrogging around a little bit? Is it still the meritocracy that I always hoped and imagined and assumed it was are you concerned  "I have a couple things working against me to answer this honestly," he says.
