The Problem With Factory Patterns

The problem with factories is that it is a little bit confusing to talk about. It gets to a point where you can be so abstracted in your code that your code is just kind of like what we talked about with Solid. You're so abstracted that nothing actually does anything real anymore. So the top level factory then knows to instantiate the bottom level factories based off another config file or or value that's passed in. And then those factories are going to return you back and I auto of the type that you did. Yeah, nobody really buys hammers anymore.
