The Angel of the Lord in Genesis One

Moses objects to the idea that he should go tell Pharaoh, you need to let my people go. The Lord's response is: I will be with you. He doesn't even address Moses inadequacy. My sufficiency, adequacy is enough to meet your inadequacy. So it seems to me that Moses' hesitation is really based on what happened in chapter two of Genesis.
