Christian Freedom Is Freedom From the Law

In verse two is the first time in this letter that paul has mentioned circumcision related to the galatians. This is the flash point in galatia because they are already beginning to take on some jewish festivals. They're contemplating it, and paul is encouraging them not to do that. To be circumcised is to rebel against god and christ. That's the first warning. If you accept circumcision, which they're pondering, christ will be of no advantage to you. Inother words, listen, galatians, it's me. You know me. I brought the gospel to you. Listen up. I'll shoot straight.
