Dust Storm Leads to Pileups on Interstate 55
Police report at least six people were killed and more than 30 injured. They say the dust storm was caused by excessive winds blowing dirt from newly plowed fields near the highway which led to zero visibility for drivers. The wind that we had around this low pressure right over the Great Lakes was up to 45 miles per hour today. But tomorrow afternoon the same thing could occur again.
