The Evolution of the Universe

When would you have guessed that the first galaxies, roughly the size of the Milky Way would have been formed? Yeah. So I think that we would have expected probably that maybe there's one in the entire universe at some early time. And really, we'd want to wait a little bit even longer, probably 1.5 or even 2 billion years before they came very common. But now let's compare that with what JWST has recently reported to observe.
