I don't see how they're going to put the genie back in the bottle on this, says Darrad. The EU antitrust chief said that Google may have to sell off part of its ad tech technology and business model. It's certainly an interesting set of maneuvering by the EU. I think it's important that the bodies likely you have the potential basically to regulate big tech. And particularly, as we see time and time again, self-regulation, self-governance, always fails.
