Is There a Bounded Context in a Monolith?

I don't generally think of a bounded context in a very technical way. There are some ways of using bounded context for a sort of messaging switch or rouder, but those have additional purposes. So what about existing softwater? How doyo go about trying to prepare that into a microsopice? Why would you do that one? Well, assuming that we have started with a well modularized monoleth right swer, we're developing a new system. And if you design them correctly, there won't be, you know, leaky abstractions.
