The Old Testament Parallel to Child Sacrifice

i wanta, i want to give you a little history on child sacrifice. It's the elevation of self over the children you've created. There is a powerful parallel here, actually, to child sacrifice. So in the old testament, child sacrifice was practised in worship of a pagan god. They thought their lives were going to improve and get better by killing their children. Is so ironic, isn't it?
