Do You Think the Fed Funds Rate Is Going to Go Much Higher?
I don't think, believe it or not, that the fed funds rate has to go much higher. Don't forget the december fed funds rate was a good 30, forty bases points higher just a month or so ago before this real softening in the economy took place. I can't find a period where the money supply has been falling for four months ever. Even the financial crisis, or the seventies recessions, or the 81 82 recessions never happened. But you couldn't find the period in which had grown so much in the year an or o correct for it. And i think that what marry the stock market wants to see is that the fed, as you say,
