Using Locks and Mutexes in a Distributed System
There's a lot of challenges in running a distributed system. So i want to look at some of these concepts. If you're running a process on the cunnel, it can have multiple threads. What's the difference between a thread and a process? To be honest, not much. Especially in lennox. I would say that if somebody says thread, they are usually implying that multiple threads share the same virtual memory space. Although that gets kind o fuzzy alr threads and processes have pids and linnox, and there's not much distinction between the two.
