The Horror of Easter in the Philippines

Filipinos take Easter very, very seriously. One of the things I saw was literally one of the single most terrifying things I've ever seen. Legitimately like something out of a horror movie. There had to be like 15 to 20 guys all walking around in a loop and they're like whipping themselves with whips with dried palm fronds on the end.
