Deoxygenation Response at a Deltoid, a Non-Priority Muscle

Why would deltoid be extracting oxygen if it's not a working muscle during recycling? That's a good question. And then, why are we seeing this deoxygenation, this oxygen extraction happening at a non-locomotor, non-involved muscle? We think that what we're seeing is some of the systemic vasoconstriction response, which is totally normal, totally expected. You can't really kind of use that advantage to your advantage for training rather than throw it out and say well, I'm going to train with more power.
