Lacan's Openness to the Unknown

Lacanian view is quite different in key ways from Freud's assessment, he really theorizes religion in a new way. Lacan puts that openness to the unknown at the absolute heart of the whole thing. In this sense, really agrees with Freud. He thinks that there is an enormous danger in religious belief as we often find it all around the world.
