The Flying Saucer Extraterrestrial Paradigm
People in a modern setting can sometimes laugh those off as pixies and fairies and such don't exist. These are just labels for things that weren't understood at the time or people had no frame of reference for. If you go back to Roman times, there's talk of flying shields or burning shields in the sky because they didn't know about flying saucers or even aircraft at the time. So I think that's important to reference that we hear about angels and demons even. There are a number of extraordinary things in the natural world and all these paradigms may possibly have some realities in them.
