Is There a Way to Eliminate Global Debt?
The World Bank and IMF, these are lenders that cannot take loan losses. You can never escape the squeezing of your economy for everything that you're worth. The deeper solution is that it's Bitcoin, right? It's one thing to send a country $30 billion in Bitcoin that you might not ever get back. If it's fiat and you've got lender of the last resort backing you forever, there's no disincentive to lend.
Alex Gladstein is the Chief Strategy Officer at the Human Rights Foundation. He joins me for a deep dive into his upcoming book “Hidden Repression”. We discuss how the IMF and World Bank repress poor countries and funnel their resources to rich ones, and more.
