Is There a Cap on for-Profit Spaces?

A lot of provinces have put targets for expansion on how many for-profit spaces will be created. The concern amongst childcare advocates though is that there's going to be so much pressure on building the system because parents are now able to access really affordable childcare, and so they're going to want a lot more of it. With that pressure, the for-profit sector will be the ones to say, hey, we're in a position to fill these spaces.
