It's a serial killer story but told as a love story so it's you see it's like an unreliable narrator brought to the nth degree where you're hearing his internal monologue declaring love and everything that he's doing is for the love of you. The writers are harpooning l.a. every since uh seen they can with every character i've been offended a few times well they literally there's literally the place the place he works at is a place called anavarin which is nirvana backwards which is an aroan which is an actual grocery store.
