Are You Directly Aware of External Properties of Water?
One theory of perception would say that you're not really, ever even directly aware of anything externall. This maybe an indirect awareness of the world. Another idea is thatyou are directly aware of the world, the external world. If we take instead, a direct realist analysis of perception, right, then the idea is that i'm directly aware of of some external properties of water. It looks like on this sort of direct realism, externalist theory, that what i would be directly aware of would be maybe some macroscopic properties.
