The Index of the Protestant Ethic - John Gantz's Misdirection

Bob Greene: John Gantz repeatedly told Phil, I never said that. He continued to say, no, no, you meant it was in the Protestant ethic, and you're wrong. And then later when Phil wrote this up on his own blog, he highlighted that particular element of the dispute as if it was like, you know, some smoking gun to show what a liar and moron John Gantz was. That's why I'm saying it's so crazy to see Phil argue these people where he dies on a hill that doesn't even matter. The trick is to say Gantz was saying this was from the Protestant ethic when no, it wasn't.
