The World Is Not Overpopulated at All
When Ant and I were teenagers, ATMs were invented. One of the things people said is going to put tellers out of work, bank tellers. Because that makes sense, right? It actually caused an increase in the number of bank teller jobs. The world is not overpopulated at all. Today we have compared to a century ago, about 10 times a number of people on the planet. Our population is 8 times what it was. Yet the number of people living in extreme poverty has gone down by a factor of 10.
