Maundy Exposes Flight Itineraries and Unencrypted Credit Card Numbers
Maundy security labs exposed flight itineraries and unencrypted credit card numbers. The database, more than 1.7 terabytes in size at the time it was exposed, contained customers personal information,. including names, gender, dates of birth, home address, flight information and passport numbers. Some of the data seen by TechCrunch includes a full customer passenger name records, including ticket and booking booking details. It's not yet known if anyone other than the researcher found the exposed database during the window is accessible from the internet. Maundy was asked if the company had the technical abilities, such as logs to determine what if any data was accessed or exfiltrated but they did not say
