Bacchus wrote a treatise titled appeal to the public for religious liberty published in Boston in 1773. In it he points out some other texts which need to be considered in the discussion. He seems to be more focused on 1 Peter 2 maybe just because it's briefer and it's handy for him to be able to cite these verses1 Peter 2 verses 3 and 4 I'm sorry 13 and 14 Peter 2 13 and 14. Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake whether to the king is supreme or to governors as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evil doers and for the praise of those who do good.
