John Avlon: In the injunction, the judge wrote that in response to the pandemic, quote, the United States government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian ministry of truth. So how does this complicate the administration's effort going forward, especially ahead of the 2024 campaign cycle to combat misinformation? He says it is not just problematic for the administration but also Congress as they try to figure out how to actually tamp down on this legislatively. Avlon: This is a very slippery slope. And I think a lot of the coverage of this assumes that there is something righteous about going after misinformation.
