The Petrodollar Is a Misnomer
The petrodollar is in its last phase of life. Saudi Arabia is now willing to sell oil against other currencies. And so it looks like the American Empire is working on the alternative where they can't rely on the petrodollar support bases anymore. The coercion is the control system called central bank digital currencies. We have not seen a profound surge in risk appetite from the private sector to land into this deflationary environment. For me, I would contend that means that we will see the unwind of inflation quite dramatically and sadly, we will see an accentuation in the pain of economic misery for the ordinary folk here I am in San Francisco.
