Stephen King talked about how he always had his ideal reader in mind as he was writing All of his books and in this case his ideal reader was his wife But he was writing the books as if he was writing to one person And I think when we do that when we create our work as if we're creating for one person It helps you be precise to ensure that you're not waffling with your work.
