Can the New Covenant Be Broken?

There can be backsliding in the Christian life. The covenant of love of God does not permit backsliding. Jesus is in heaven praying for his saints, pleading the blood that he shed on the cross for his own. And if they backslide, he will have them back. That's the way we pray for those who we believe were once believers and seem to be straying.
