I wish I had my old job working as a regular artilleryman. No, I didn't really particularly want to be an artilleryman. It was just the only thing that I could get into at the time. I wasn't a proper soldier. I was just a wartime soldier. But still, we didn't get into it. Did you ever think this was a bit hairy? The SAS had a disastrous first experience by parachute. And so the L.R.D.G. actually picked up the few survivors.
