The Synoptic Problem in Bart's Commentary
Bart's first edition is joyful and the second edition is angry as is common. The examples I've just given are not in the first edition which is by Contras Dalah, lacking the vibrancy of the 1922 edition. Admittedly, occasional mention is made of Eulichia, usually critically, and he was a biblical scholar. But either way, it makes for an odd commentary. Further, his use of intertexts are selective and problematic. Instead, long passages are drawn from Luther or Calvin and the text is peppered with references to Kierkegaard.
