The Emotional Brain Is Not Going to Win Against the Rational Mind
Almost every decision we make is emotionally based. And then we will retroactively try and rationalize it. So, so the rational mind we can use to trick ourselves a little bit. But it's not going to win against the emotional brain. The emotional brain is responding to images and emotions. That's why we need to use our imagination and positive emotion to respond to fear instead of rationalizing it.
