Bicoin miners could help solve some of it, but the problems in the first place ere caused by all the intermittency. Demand response and theory works very well and does make sense. It's a free, freemarket solution to an energy delivery problem. A miner should make money for that. But te electricity generation should be sitting on top of reliable base load energy such as natural gas or coal. You can supplement it with wind and solar, but that should not be the main gy sources that you're you're leveraging for demand response programs.
