I think I've traced it back to a kind of a consumerist. Tramps that really took off big time in the fifties over the last 50 or 60 years. Of escalating materialism of being able to make enough money so you can buy whatever you want whenever you want to buy it. A special kind of frustration that built from too much immediate gratification. Too much getting your own way too much. Getting your own way because you have the money to get your own way. It takes a certain amount of work to expose how deeply you know you may have been entranced in this kind of consumer's idea of freedom and just getting your way toomuch.
