The Ministers of the Sacrament

It sounds like we could say that the bride and the groom directly minister to each other, marriage, and indirectly the sacrament. That's more along the lines of what I want to say. So when you explain that, it actually almost convinces me more that theBride and groom are ministers of the sacrament.
