Silence of the Lambs, Isn't It a Good Idea?
In a recent New York Times article about the Midwestern Nazi, there is at no point an expose on how this Nazi is really just like us. And that all, all particulars are, are equal, right? Like, I think, isn't that the greatness of a film like Silence of the Lambs? The point isn't, oh, Lecter, it's just one of us. It's that we're actually invested in Lecter and want him to eat somebody.
