Roy's Air Force Deployment to Missoul Iraq
CNN's John Defterios talks to a U.S. Air Force pilot about his time in Syria and Iraq. He says the weather was so bad that they couldn't do much but get gas from an air tanker. They were able to hold out for a couple of hours before having to go back into the clouds, which is what happened on this particular sortie. But he said it wasn't very common when you are supporting US troops near Iraqi or Syrian airspace with such low-altitude refueling missions.
