The Fed Has No Teeth
Powell has said that if I talk tough enough, I'll never actually have to do anything. It is all a bluff. The Fed has no teeth just like the Bank of England has no teeth because they have no stomach for the severity of this crisis. If they did, they wouldn't have bailed everybody out in 2008 or 2020. They've kicked the can down the road and opted for inflation over pain. That's what they're going to do this time. Inflation is bad, but fighting it is even worse. So deal with it."
