By 1983, 84, we were soaked in this fear of World War III, Nuclear War, and Armageddon. The Soviets thought that red dawn was actually part of Reagan's attempt to use Hollywood to prepare Americans for World War III. In music, Ronald Reagan, as a character, made appearances in videos by Genesis or by Men at Work. He's not the only one who said it's of his day.
