UX designing is quite a young profession. There's not that many of us who've been in the game for 30 years because it's not really 30 years old. We're moving further and further into design environments which are not screen based. So if all your skills are screen oriented and you don't do any professional learning or development over the next five years and somebody hires you to do a chat interaction, you're probably going to struggle with that.
