Aristotle's Five Rhetorical Concepts

Aristotle points out that political communication cannot just be about what he calls logos. It requires a pathos, which is emotion, and it requires ethos, which is the sense of character. Boris Johnson and Donald Trump are unbelievably good at finding how to get the great slogans going again. They're terrible human beings, but they are funnier than the other not. And this is part of their secret power. I want you to think about five Aristotelian concepts - hope, daimonya, happiness or flourishing.
