Flight 401 84 - A New Airplane
The plane was only about nine months old, had one thousand 352 hours and one thousand 671 cycles on it. The crew were told they could expect a little bit of holding in the air but did not specify a reason as to why. At three o nine, a pilot flying a beach barron reported that there was some light icing at 12 thousand feet,. And that just describes the type of ice. So the report occurred on the same frequency that flight forty one 84 was on and so it was not repeated to the crew. It's at that bad was lik another 27 minutes or so.
