Three Reasons to Stay Close to God

E says he's able to stay because i recognize that i am the one responsible for my spiritual well being. E: We sometimes think this concept personal revelation with christ is something that we can or should abdicate. But we cannot and should not abdicate the right and responsibility to any one, independent of his or her position or role in our lives. To do so removes us from the direct and powerful insight that we both need and are obligated to acquire. If it isn't resonating with us, it's dead. It's the worship of dead things. It's idolatry.
