The procedural aspect of this movie is really fun yeah totally so there's one scene when uh sugar is driving to del Rio where he shoots the pigeon and misses. It's a callback i think to raising Arizona where you know the biker from hell is like shoots at little animals for no reason. There are a couple like the scene of the texago shason is very raising Arizona too like so i think it's that i don't know maybe western bad guy trope to be cruelty animals.
