Introduction
The world watched nervously late last week as a brewing coup in Russia had people across the globe on pins and needles, but a quick resolution put investors at ease by Monday morning. Elsewhere, there was plenty of positive economic data this week as consumer confidence and new home sales came in well above estimates. Ben Cher Powell was quick to take the punch bowl away though, commenting that several more rate hikes may be necessary before the Fed can declare victory over inflation. And there were several big comps for CRE investors to digest.
